CCW
By far our most popular training class, our 8-hour CCW program includes classroom and practical range training. This class covers firearm safety, actions of various guns (how they function), key fundamentals for shooting well, and the do’s and don’ts of Ohio law related to owning and potentially using a firearm in a defensive situation. It also includes live-fire, small group coaching on the range to put what you’ve learned into practice. We enjoy helping new and experienced shooters gain knowledge and advance their skills.
Prerequisite: None
Required Equipment: Students will need hearing and eye protection, and approximately 100 rounds of ammunition. We realize new shooters may not know which calibers they want to shoot, so we set aside time for students to purchase what they need after we have discussed pistol actions and calibers but before heading to the range.
Do I Need My Own Firearm? You may use your own firearm or ours. If you own a handgun, we encourage you to bring it so you can practice with what you already own. If you do not have a firearm, you may use ours at no cost during the class.
A note about winter classes: Thankfully, we have never had to postpone or reschedule a CCW class due to weather. We know our customers have gone out of their way to rearrange schedules, ask off work, etc. to take their CCW classes on specific days. We respect that and are super happy you chose 22three. We want to honor your time and will run CCW classes as scheduled unless there is a Level 3 snow emergency.
What if I need to reschedule?
Classes may be rescheduled one time up to 72 hours prior to the course start time. Cancellations within 72 hours of the start time are no longer eligible to be rescheduled and are forfeited. Thank you for understanding that our class spots are limited and valuable.
Again, thank you for choosing 22three for your firearms training needs. We look forward to seeing you.
Tailored, one-on-one training to meet your needs, including classroom time, range time or both. You'll learn a ton and have fun along the way.
At check-out, you'll have the option of adding an additional person (or two) to this lesson for $25 each. We recommend keeping private training sessions to 1 or 2 people, but there is a maximum of 3 people.
You'll Need:
You will need hearing and eye protection, so if you have that already, please bring them along. If you don’t have some already, we have a variety for sale here. Any time you practice (which we hope you do often!), you’ll need those, so no better time to pick them up than now.
Other than the lesson itself and basic hearing and eye protection, your only other expense will be a little bit of ammo in the calibers you plan to shoot. And you can decide on caliber part-way through the lesson if you’d like. For new shooters, it's sometimes easier to decide once you’ve worked with the instructor for a little bit; plus, your instructor may have some recommendations for you.
Rescheduling: Classes and private training sessions are non-refundable and may be rescheduled one time up to 72 hours prior to the session start time. Cancellations within 72 hours of the start time are no longer eligible to be rescheduled and are forfeited. Thank you for understanding that our class spots are limited and valuable.

Do I Need My Own Firearm?: No, but you may. If you own a pistol, we encourage you to bring it so you can practice with what you already own. If you do not have a firearm, you may use ours at no cost during the class.
Dates: Every 3rd Sunday. See you soon!

Holster Draw EDC is a great way to begin your next level of training. Having a safe, effective draw stroke will increase the safety and protection of you and those around you. Begin learning to draw like the pros and shoot close quarters (as in, really close). In our EDC pistol series at 22three, we get in front of the line to give you opportunities to do things you normally can't do during a typical day at the range. The subject is crucial, but training can also be fun.
Prerequisite: Quality CCW class or equivalent. Students should be comfortable functioning the gun without assistance: loading, racking the slide, unloading, etc., and have a solid understanding of proper grip, sight alignment and trigger press.
Required Equipment: reliable handgun; strong side, outside the waistband holster that doesn’t collapse on drawing; 50 rounds ammo; cover garment; at least 1 spare mag with mag holster (or spare speed loader for revolver); no Serpa holsters please.
Rescheduling: Classes are non-refundable and may be rescheduled one time up to 72 hours prior to the course start time. Cancellations within 72 hours of the start time are no longer eligible to be rescheduled and are forfeited. Thank you for understanding that our class spots are limited and valuable.

In Strong and Support EDC, we’ll teach life-saving skills to help you survive a violent threat. We’ll spend time not only on one-handed, dominant hand best practices, but on invaluable support-hand skills. Your dominant hand may be occupied protecting a loved one or defending yourself. In a violent confrontation you may instinctively shield your head or strike the aggressor in self-defense, which may lead to an injured hand. Being confident using either hand by itself is part of knowing how to use your weapon safely and responsibly.
Why: Increase your odds of surviving a violent confrontation with solid strong- and support-hand fundamentals.
Prerequisite: Holster Draw; Deal with It!; and Take Cover! EDC

Let's shoot lights out! Now's your chance. At 22three, we want you to advance your skills while you move and shoot, take cover, and handle it! Students will gain valuable experience incorporating best practices in low-light tactics, including low-light shooting with a police bar.
Safety remains paramount. Because of the low-light environment, you'll want to know that all students in the class are safe and have completed all needed prerequisites.
Why: In the real world, darkness is a thing. Get practice for this potential reality, and don't make the first time you shoot in the dark be the moment your life is on the line.
Prerequisite: All EDC classes up to this point: Holster Draw; Deal With It; Take Cover; Engaging Multiple Threats; and Advanced Movement/Alternative Positions EDC.
Required equipment: reliable handgun; strong side, outside the waistband holster that doesn’t collapse on drawing; 150 rounds ammo; at least 1 spare mag with mag holster (or spare speed loader for revolver); no Serpa holsters please.

Now that you've started to get used to shooting in the dark, let's turn the tables and use tactical flashlights in your favor. Your "inner agent" will appreciate knowing the how-to's of choosing and using tactical flashlights, and putting new skills to the test with low-light (and no light), live-fire shooting scenarios.
Why: Let's flip the tables and use tactical light to our advantage.
Prerequisite: In the Dark EDC and all other EDC classes up to this point.
